Cadet Nation:
It's hard to believe it, but we have officially made it to the last week of the Fall 2024 semester! It has been amazing few months, and I've loved watching our students excel. Between the fantastic performances put on in the athletic arena and on the stage, the excitement and giggles that were seen at Pumpkin Runs and Fall Festivals, and the purposeful coordination that was put into action for various service projects, anyone who was lucky enough to see our Cadets in action was given are a great treat!
While I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing this excellence on display in extracurricular activities, I have been even more impressed by what I've seen going on in our classrooms. Our teachers are working so hard to help our students develop and grow. Our students are matching that energy, and they have made great progress this semester!
Each of our campuses have tons of exciting activities planned for this week. Please take a moment to read each of their newsletters to make sure that you are up to date. There's class parties, Christmas concerts, and tons of sporting events...just to name a few! Several of our teams will have practices and games over the break, so please make sure that you have touched base with your students' coaches so that you are aware of those schedules.
We will hit the ground running the moment that we get back from the break. The second semester of the school year will present each of our Connally Cadets with countless opportunities to progress as scholars, competitors, and members of our community. Based off of their performances this fall, I can say with great confidence that they are ready for another great semester!
Before we get to that point, however, I hope that everyone has a great winter break! It will be great to have a moment to gather with friends, families, and community members to rest and engage in fellowship. I sincerely hope that everyone returns to school in January rejuvenated and ready to tackle the year!
