Registration is open for Teen Takeover! Teen Takeover is an exciting program where teens can collaborate with STEM experts, explore the museum after hours, and have fun with friends at the Mayborn Museum! What is a typical Teen Takeover event like? - Teens will participate in a variety of hands-on activities, crafts, demonstrations, or games. There will typically be time to explore the Mayborn Museum, time to talk with and ask questions of the STEM experts, and dinner or snacks are provided.
When is Teen Takeover held? - Teen Takeover programs are held once in the Spring semester and once in the Fall semester.
Who can attend Teen Takeover? - Teen Takeover programs are free and open to anyone ages 13 to 18 years old.
What is the Teen Takeover Team? - Our Teen Takeover Team is a group of dedicated teens who are responsible for choosing the topics and food for each event, meeting with scientists to plan the program, and promoting Teen Takeover through flyers, word of mouth, or social media. The Teen Takeover Team meets three times prior to each Teen Takeover event to plan. If you're interested in being a part of the Teen Takeover Team, please contact MaybornDesignDen@baylor.edu.
