Connally Junior High School Update

Week of 9/9/2024 - 9/13/2024

Principal's Update:

Dear Parents and Connally Community,

We are thrilled to begin another week in Cadet Nation!

We were incredibly excited by the turnout and enthusiasm from the parents who participated in our Math Parent Information Night last Tuesday evening. During the event, parents were introduced to the Carnegie Math program. We discussed why it works, how we make it relevant to today's world, and how parents can support their children at home. Your involvement is crucial, and we ask that you continue to positively motivate your child in their math journey.

We're also pleased with the hard work and dedication shown by our students and teachers during our recent Intervention Friday. These focused sessions are key to ensuring that every student gets the support they need to succeed.

Progress grade reporting is available to all parents on Skyward. If you are needing assistance with Skyward please contact the campus.

Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

Parent Supervision At School Events

Connally Junior High requires that all parents or guardians escort and chaperone their children to all Connally ISD activities, including athletic games at both the junior high and high school levels. Junior high school students (grades 6-8) must not be dropped off at any event without an accompanying adult present 100% of the time during the event or for the entire duration that their child is present.

Upcoming Events:

Fall Picture Day is September 16th.
