Dear Connally Junior High Families,
As we approach the close of another school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for allowing us to work with your children each day. It has truly been an honor to watch them grow—academically, emotionally, and socially—throughout the year. The last day of school will be Friday, May 23, with an early dismissal at 12:15 p.m. Please plan accordingly.
This time of year is always bittersweet as we celebrate accomplishments and prepare for a well-earned summer break. As we wrap up the school year, I’d like to remind you about our End-of-Year Awards Ceremonies taking place on Tuesday, May 20th (Game Day door entry). Please see below for the scheduled time for each grade level:
6th Grade Awards – 1:30pm
7th Grade Awards – 9:00am
8th Grade End-of-Year Ceremony – 8:30am
We hope you’ll join us to celebrate your child’s hard work, dedication, and growth over the year.
On a personal note, I want to share that next school year I will be transitioning to Connally High School as the new Associate Principal. While I am excited for this new chapter in my professional journey, Connally Junior High will always hold a special place in my heart. It has been a joy and a privilege to serve as principal here, and I will forever consider it my campus. I’ve built strong connections with so many students and families, and I look forward to cheering on our Cadets all the way through to their graduation day when the time comes.
Thank you again for your continued support, partnership, and trust. I wish each of you a safe, restful, and joyful summer. We look forward to welcoming your child back in August, ready for another successful school year!
With Cadet pride,
