Principal's Update:

Dear Connally Community,

As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to take a moment to thank our incredible educators for the dedication, passion, and care they show our students every day. Our staff truly goes above and beyond, and it’s because of their commitment that opportunities like the one below are possible.

I’m excited to invite you to The Cadet Collective, our digital media class photo gallery, happening next Thursday, May 8th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Gallery in downtown Waco (715 Washington Ave).

This special event is a showcase of our students’ creativity, where each will present two original photographs available for purchase — a perfect way to support young artists while adding a unique touch to your home or classroom. Refreshments will be provided, and the event is open to the public, so please bring family and friends to enjoy this celebration of student talent.

Our Cadets are excited to dress up, share their work, and speak with guests about the inspiration behind their pieces. Your support and presence would mean so much to them.

We are grateful to the Washington Gallery for hosting us and want to treat their space with care and respect.

As we honor our teachers this week, what better way to continue the celebration than by coming together to support our students’ achievements? I hope to see you there!

Come Join Us For Lunch

We are thrilled to extend an invitation for guardians and siblings to join their student for lunch at Connally Junior High! Sharing a meal with your child is a wonderful opportunity to engage with their school experience and create lasting memories.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for everyone, please note the following guidelines:

  • Call Ahead: Please inform the school of your visit by calling us at 254-296-7700 by 9:30 AM on the day you plan to join your child for lunch.

  • Visit Schedule: To accommodate everyone comfortably, we ask that you follow the schedule below based on the first letter of your child’s last name:

    • A-F: Mondays

    • G-M: Tuesdays

    • N-S: Wednesdays

    • T-Z: Thursdays

We look forward to welcoming you to our school and hope you enjoy this time with your child.

Parent Supervision At School Events

Connally Junior High requires that all parents or guardians escort and chaperone their children to all Connally ISD activities, including athletic games at both the junior high and high school levels. Junior high school students (grades 6-8) must not be dropped off at any event without an accompanying adult present 100% of the time during the event or for the entire duration that their child is present.
