Dear Connally Junior High Families,

It is with a mix of excitement and gratitude that I share some news about the upcoming school year. After eight wonderful years in Connally ISD and a deep love for our junior high campus, I will be transitioning to Connally High School as Associate Principal next year. While this change brings new opportunities, my heart remains firmly rooted in the success and well-being of all Connally students.

I want to assure you that our incredible CJH staff is well-prepared for this transition, and I will continue to be a bridge between both campuses, ensuring that our students experience a smooth and supportive journey from junior high to high school. Connally Junior High will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am proud of the strong foundation we’ve built together.

Thank you for your trust, support, and partnership in making CJH such an amazing place for students to grow. I look forward to finishing this school year strong and continuing to support Connally students in my new role.

Exciting news, Cadet family!

This past Friday afternoon, our track teams traveled to West to compete in a highly competitive track meet, and they did not disappoint! For the first time in five years, our 8th grade boys team brought home a team title—a historic achievement that deserves to be celebrated!

Our athletes gave it their all, showcasing incredible determination, teamwork, and school spirit. Their hard work and dedication paid off in a big way, bringing home not only individual successes but also a well-earned championship title.

We are thrilled to extend an invitation for guardians and siblings to join their student for lunch at Connally Junior High! Sharing a meal with your child is a wonderful opportunity to engage with their school experience and create lasting memories.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for everyone, please note the following guidelines:

• Call Ahead: Please inform the school of your visit by calling us at 254-296-7700 by 9:30 AM on the day you plan to join your child for lunch.

• Visit Schedule: To accommodate everyone comfortably, we ask that you follow the schedule below based on the first letter of your child’s last name:

  • A-F: Mondays

  • G-M: Tuesdays

  • N-S: Wednesdays

  • T-Z: Thursdays

We look forward to welcoming you to our school and hope you enjoy this time with your child.

Connally Junior High requires that all parents or guardians escort and chaperone their children to all Connally ISD activities, including athletic games at both the junior high and high school levels. Junior high school students (grades 6-8) must not be dropped off at any event without an accompanying adult present 100% of the time during the event or for the entire duration that their child is present.
