Dear Parent:
Keeping Our Students Safe and Warm
As the temperatures have dropped, we’ve been making sure our students stay warm and safe before, during and after school. We want to remind parents that our doors open at 7:20 AM each morning. Before this time, there is no supervision or a designated safe space for students, so we kindly ask that parents do not drop off students early or leave them unattended before the doors open. Your cooperation helps us ensure that all students are safe, warm and accounted for.
7th Grade Visits the Perot Museum of Nature and Science
This past week, many of our 7th-grade students had the opportunity to visit the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, TX. This world-class museum offers interactive exhibits in earth and space science, engineering, life sciences, and more. Students explored hands-on activities, including a dinosaur fossil exhibit, a physics-based sports motion lab, and an earthquake simulator. The trip provided a fun and engaging way to connect science to real-world applications, and our students had a fantastic time learning outside the classroom!
Track Season is Here!
Our track and field season has officially begun! Student-athletes have been training hard, and we look forward to a great season ahead. We will be announcing a few of our upcoming track meets soon, so stay tuned for dates and locations. We encourage all parents and families to come out and support our Cadets!
As always, thank you for your ongoing support of Connally Junior High!
Go Cadets!
