We encourage you as or guardians/parents to communicate openly with us and to schedule conferences with their child’s teachers whenever they have questions or concerns about their student’s progress. Your involvement is essential to your child's success, and we value the partnership between home and school. By working together, we can create a supportive environment that allows each student to thrive. Please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re here to support you and your student every step of the way.

We’re entering the fourth week of the grading period, and progress reports will be available on Skyward on Thursday, November 7th. You can access all student grades and attendance through Skyward Family Access. If you encounter any issues, please reach out to the campus for assistance.

This week, we’ll have our final football games of the season against Gatesville, right here at home. Come out to cheer on our junior high Cadets football teams, our talented cheerleaders, and the band! We’ll also hold a pep rally on Thursday at 2:00 pm, and parents are warmly invited to join us.

A few Tuesdays ago, Connally Junior High opened its doors to the community for a thrilling Trunk or Treat event. Families and students enjoyed a festive evening filled with exciting activities and treats. From collecting candy to showing off their creative costumes in the contest, students embraced the Halloween spirit. A lively cake walk, unique robotic candy dispensers, and many other fun-filled stations made the night memorable.

We are grateful for the community’s support and everyone who helped make this event possible. For students planning to participate in other Halloween festivities, please remember to stay safe and have fun!

We are thrilled to extend an invitation for guardians and siblings to join their student for lunch at Connally Junior High! Sharing a meal with your child is a wonderful opportunity to engage with their school experience and create lasting memories.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for everyone, please note the following guidelines:

• Call Ahead: Please inform the school of your visit by calling us at 254-296-7700 by 9:30 AM on the day you plan to join your child for lunch.

• Visit Schedule: To accommodate everyone comfortably, we ask that you follow the schedule below based on the first letter of your child’s last name:

  • A-F: Mondays

  • G-M: Tuesdays

  • N-S: Wednesdays

  • T-Z: Thursdays

Connally Junior High requires that all parents or guardians escort and chaperone their children to all Connally ISD activities, including athletic games at both the junior high and high school levels. Junior high school students (grades 6-8) must not be dropped off at any event without an accompanying adult present 100% of the time during the event or for the entire duration that their child is present.
