At Connally Junior High, we require that all students keep their cell phones in their lockers during the school day. This policy is in place to help minimize distractions and ensure that our students can fully focus on their academic responsibilities.
In the event of an emergency, rest assured that our staff is trained to promptly take care of your child, and they will be able to contact you using a school phone if necessary. We understand the importance of communication, but during the school day, our priority is ensuring that students are concentrating on their learning and not on social media, texting, or taking pictures, which can greatly disrupt their focus.
It is essential that our students remain engaged in the instruction and activities happening in the classroom, so they can maximize their learning experience. We kindly ask for your support in reinforcing this expectation at home.
