Dear Connally Junior High Families,
I hope this message finds you well! As we head into another exciting week, I want to share a few important updates and reminders to keep everyone informed and working together for the success of our Cadets.
MAP Testing Success
A huge thank-you to our students, staff, and families for supporting this week’s MAP testing. This is a critical time to measure student progress, and I’m proud of the hard work and focus our Cadets have shown. Please continue encouraging your students to do their best on all assessments and attend intervention sessions if needed.
Dress Code and Blankets
To ensure a positive and productive learning environment, I want to remind families of a few dress code guidelines that are becoming a concern:
Students are not allowed to bring blankets to school or use them in classrooms. If your student needs a coat or jacket, please contact our school counselor or Communities In Schools (CIS), and we will assist in meeting that need.
Leggings are only permitted if worn with a dress that is knee-length or longer.
Hairmust be well groomed, trimmed and kept out of eyes. Unnatural colors (i.e. red, blue, green, pink, purple, etc. are prohibited.
Your partnership in following these guidelines helps us maintain a focused and respectful school culture.
Parent Involvement
Please ensure you’re checking with your student about any important documents or assignments they may have brought home, especially if they’ve been in ISS or DAEP. Communication between home and school is key to supporting your student’s success.
Thank you for your continued support in helping Connally Junior High be a place where our students feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow. As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make it another great week!
