Hello Cadet Families,
We are now officially entering into testing season. We will be taking the English 1 and 2 STAAR End of Course Exams. That means all 9th and 10th graders will be taking 1 of those exams this week. Please help us by getting your student to school on time and ready to do their best on the exam.
In high school all students have to pass 5 STAAR End of Course exams before they graduate. Those test are English 1, English 2, Algebra 1, Biology, and US History. If a student does not pass, they will have an opportunity to retest in the summer and then in December. If a student does not pass the test in the spring they will be assigned Fridays next school year for intervention hours, which are mandated by the Texas Education Agency.
