Hello Cadet Families,
We had a great start of our semester this past week. We had lots of accolades, accomplishments and overall hard work happening at CHS. Please see the calendar below for a look at all the activities going on this week. I also encourage you to follow our social media pages to see pictures and updates.
With the start of the new semester I want to stress that we will be consistent on our campus standards each and everyday. A few things I want to bring to everyone's attention:
Dress Code - sweats, pajama pants, tights and athletic shorts are not allowed. Also, hoodies and beanies in the building will not be allowed but they can wear them when they are traveling between buildings.
Cell phones and smart watches - these items are not allowed during the school day. Students must either pouch these items, turn them in to the front office each day or leave them at home. Pouches are available for purchase everyday in the front office for $20.
Headphones - are not allowed in the building whether they are on or off. If students are caught with them on administration will be taking them up and students can pick them up at the end of the week.
Student IDs - all students are required to wear their current student ID all day. If lost they can get a temporary and purchase a new one for $5.
Attendance - is tracked every class period every day. It is extremely important that students are in attendance as well as pass their class in order to gain credits.
