Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope everyone enjoyed the Labor Day holiday.
We are in the middle of our Big Kahuna Fundraiser this year, and we have had several students turning in tickets with items sold. This is our largest fundraiser of the school year, and we use this money to pay for things during the school year such as PBIS parties, field day, field trips, and other incentives throughout the school year. We appreciate the support of our students and campus.
This week will be our first Intervention Friday. Letters have gone out, and your child's teacher should have contacted you through Rooms if your child needs to attend. If you are unsure, please contact your child's teacher. The doors will open at 7:30 am for breakfast, and Intervention will last from 8:00- 12:00. Your child will also eat lunch before they dismiss.
Our students will begin MAP testing this week, and will have more MAP testing next week. The results we see from MAP testing will help us identify specific areas your child does well, and areas we can help support for growth. It is very important that your child does his or her best so we can get accurate data that will guide our instructional decisions for the best needs for your child. It is also important that your child is at school each day so this test is not missed.
