Dear Parents/Guardians,
It is hard to believe we are already starting the 6th week of school! In some ways it has flown by. Our students are doing a great job of following our school wide routines and procedures and are deep into learning their content.
Students took two MAP tests last week in Reading and Math, and will take their Science MAP test on Monday. For the most part, our students have been taking their time and showing their work on problems. These tests are given three times a year- at the beginning, middle, and end of the year to show teachers
We will have our second Intervention Friday this week. Please make sure your child comes if they are assigned. If you are unsure if your child is supposed to come, please contact your child's teacher through Rooms. This day is dedicated to Reading/Math intervention on skills your child will need to catch up or strengthen their understanding of key concepts.
At CES, we know that regular school attendance is crucial to your student's academic success. When students are absent, they miss out on lessons and content that can be difficult to make up, which causes gaps in a student's learning and prevents your child from building skills they need to stay on track academically. Regular school attendance is vital! Thank you for ensuring your child is at school on time each day ready to learn. We are partners in your your child's education, and we want your child to be successful at school!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
