Greetings, CECC Families,

Our students had great fun last week at the Easter Egg Hunt. It was so cute to see them gathering the eggs and enjoying the morning outside together!

The Bugtussle Lane candle fundraiser is happening currently. This is a great way to purchase wonderful smelling candles and also support our school. Order forms are due April 29th!

Don't forget that we are doing the Fill the Fridge campaign for Teacher Appreciation Week coming up in May. If you'd like to donate snacks or drinks for the teachers to enjoy that week, drop them on the table in the front office foyer.

Pre-k and Kinder students are continuing to work hard each day. We are squeezing all the learning in that we can before our End of Year assessments take place in May. We are very proud of what our students have accomplished so far!

Our primary tip for the remainder of the school year is to read to your kids, have your kids read to you, and to also encourage them to write as much as possible!

We would like to congratulate Ms. Danielle Schell on being selected as Teacher of the Year for CECC. Ms. Schell is a tremendous teacher who loves her students and our school. We are proud for her to represent us!

We would also like to recognize Mrs. Reyes for being our most recent Feature Teacher! Ms. Reyes works as an instructional assistant in Mrs. Sosa's pre-k class.

The best way to get your child off to a great start is to make a commitment to have them at school every day. Good attendance is a strong predictor of future academic success. We are busy every minutes of the day in Pre-K and Kindergarten with learning and we do not want your child to miss out on anything!
