Happy December!
I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday, ate wonderful food, and spent time with friends and family. It is always nice to have a break from the usual routine to get refreshed!
This week we will be working hard at academics while also having a little fun! The Lacy Lakeview Christmas parade is Tuesday night. We hope to see our students and families on the parade route. On Thursday students will have another opportunity to purchase Kona Ice snow cones. See your child's teacher for details about that. Friday is an intervention day for specified students.
Please pay close attention to all of the dates listed below. You will not want to miss our kindergarten Christmas program on Dec. 12th, or annual Literacy Night on Dec. 12th following the kindergarten program. Santa Claus is said to be making a stop at CECC that evening!
Finally, I would like to encourage everyone to make good attendance a priority. Students miss so much valuable instruction when they are absent. Please make every effort to have your child at school on time every day!
Have a wonderful week.
