Greetings, CECC Families.

Our students and staff enjoyed a fun pajama day on Wednesday and then we had a wonderful time at the annual Pumpkin Run on Thursday. Thanks to all the parents who came out and ran with us, and who also have given donations for the Pumpkin Run. Remember that all money is due on November 4th!

This past week we recognized students who have had perfect attendance and no tardies. We drew one name from pre-k and one name from kindergarten and the winners received a gift card to Sonic!

Coming up this week our pre-k and kindergarten students will travel to Western Belle Farms. This is always a great day outside spent participating in fun activities! Students should wear their field trip shirts or a shirt the same color as the field trip shirts.

I would like to end by saying how grateful I am for our Connally ISD community. As many of you know, one of our CECC families is going through a very difficult time right now. Our Connally family has come around them, as well as our school, to show support in many ways. Thank you to everyone who is holding this CECC family in our thoughts and prayers.

Finally our Schoolstore fundraiser continues all year! We have had great response so far with lots of help provided for our school. We encourage you to continue to shop using SchoolStore. It gives money back to your child's teacher as well as our school. Your child will earn a cool wrist pet when you sign up!

With a valid ID, parents are welcome to join their child for lunch based on the alpha of their last name!

The best way to get your child off to a great start is to make a commitment to have them at school every day. Good attendance is a strong predictor of future academic success. We are busy every minutes of the day in Pre-K and Kindergarten with learning and we do not want your child to miss out on anything!
